Working 100% remotely means we are a truly global team who operate "without borders" in many senses. Although this is our preferred way of working, many countries (and tax jurisdictions) don't see things quite the same, and we must ensure we are compliant and operating legally.

This means that visas and right to work forms the fabric of many of our team's day-to-day as they travel to work from where they thrive.

You may be a team member looking at moving from your current home to somewhere else on a permanent or temporary basis, or you may be someone interested in working at Whereby who wants to know our approach to right to work. Either way, this page of information should give you what you need. If it doesn't - please reach out to your recruiter (or [email protected]) or People Partner for more information.

Exceptions to our General Rule

We may make an exception for various reasons, which you should discuss with your People Partner or Recruiter. These include:

N.B: If you believe you may have a circumstance which may cause reason for us to sponsor your visa, please do ask!

Letters of support

Some visa applications (for example, a self-employed visa) requires a letter of support from Whereby as a client or reference.

In these instances, providing you do not require full sponsorship, and are willing to cover your own legal and application fees, we are happy to assist.
