Great question!
Community volunteer days are paid days where youâre encouraged to give back to a cause that matters to you. Whereby offers full support for you to donate your time and energy to initiatives in your local or global community!
These days can be booked on Bob, and weâll celebrate your contributions - both individually and as a team. đ

The purpose of Wherebyâs community volunteer program is to:
We believe giving back creates impact - not just for the community, but for us as individuals. These days are designed to be purposeful, people-centred, and values aligned, in line with our Vision, mission & values.
At the same time, we want to recognise that participating in these activities will also enrich and inspire the lives of our everyone in our team.
Community is not subjected to locality - you can take a global view, just like we do with our vision: a world where anywhere works.
We believe in recognising and rewarding impact - not just inside Whereby, but in the communities we care about. Thatâs why weâre introducing the Volunteer Scoreboard.
Each time you log volunteer hours on Bob, theyâll count towards your total time. At the end of the year, the top 3 volunteers (based on hours logged) will each get to choose a charity to receive a donation from the Whereby Charity Fund. đ
Whether youâve been mentoring, cleaning up a park, donating time to a cause or organising something awesome - we want to see it logged!
âąď¸Â Make sure to log your hours under âCommunity Volunteer Hoursâ in Bob to be counted!
We have created a âtime offâ type called âCommunity Volunteer Hoursâ on Bob.
All you need to do is book a âCommunity Volunteer Hoursâ using the âtime offâ option in Bob (no approval needed!) Please inform your manager and ensure it works with your teamâs plans.
